Star of ABC’s Karaoke Battle USA, Brian “The Cowboy” Scott Returns to Palm Springs

Former local resident, country singer and TV personality to perform at Azul’s

PALM SPRINGS, CA -Azul Tapas Lounge and Patio in downtown Palm Springs is proud to welcome national singing sensation, Brian Scott, back to the Valley on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. A former local resident, Scott has always been a favorite across the Valley with his hugely popular country voice. After several years of touring, competing, songwriting/ recording and starring in ABC’s Karaoke Battle USA, Scott now returns to his old stomping ground for a “not to be missed” one night only performance – Hot Country.

Scott achieved national fame with his beautiful, soulful country music style and has performed all over the USA and overseas including Finland, Ireland and Russia. His background started in acting and musical theatre which then allowed him to pursue his true love of country music. He has written and recorded his own album titled “My Heart Knows” which can be heard on reverbnation.com/brianscottcountry.

In 2009, Scott became the top male karaoke champion of New Mexico and competed in the Karaoke World Champion USA National finals in Ohio where he won top male champion. He then went on to place 5th in the Karaoke World Championship in Lathi, Finland. In 2011, Scott was chosen as the first judge to represent the USA at the KWC finals in Ireland.

Scott’s national karaoke fame landed him a starring role in the recent ABC television show Karaoke Battle USA where he was a judge (Brian “The Cowboy” Scott) alongside Carnie Wilson, Joe Levy and host Joey Fatone.
