Palm Springs Oktoberfest Big Success

Palm Springs held its first annual Oktoberfest on the corner of Tahquitz Canyon Way and Palm Canyon Drive on Saturday, Oct. 13. The event was adjacent to the Marilyn Monroe statue and near downtown Palm Springs businesses. More than 40 beer, wine and food tastings booths operated from noon to 6 p.m. Cougarazz Rock an all girl Band and Bavarian Stew German band entertained the crowd. Entrance fee included a free tasting and souvenier glass.

The event benefitted CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates ), the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce and Les Dames d,Escoffier for female chefs scholarships.
