A New Private Resort Spa Under Construction in DHS

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA – The City recently issued a building permit for a new 10-room resort spa YK Spa, located at 13060 La Salle Road off Hacienda Ave. The new private spa is under construction and when completed will be a 12,503 square foot facility consisting of nine guest rooms on a .80 acre site with on site management. The resort will have a common kitchen for users, a swimming pool and each room will have its own spa and patio area. The developer is Daehung Construction out of Los Angeles.

“Desert Hot Springs is becoming known for its world class resorts and healing waters. We welcome this new spa as it joins us in offering our amazing waters to more people,” said Judy Bowman, president of the Desert Hot Springs Hoteliers Association.

“It is the healing waters that make the spa resorts in Desert Hot Springs so special. There is no other naturally occurring hot water springs like this in the world,” said DHS Mayor Yvonne Parks when she congratulated the developer noting that, “Desert Hot Springs has gained international notoriety in the travel industry for its outstanding hot water spa resorts.”
