Art Exhibition at UCR Palm Desert campus Nov. 16

PALM DESERT, Ca – “Infinite Exposure: Photographs That Talk to You” an art exhibit by Karen and Tony Barone will present an artist opening and reception on Friday, Nov. 16 at the UCR Palm Desert from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Black & white, color, cibachrome prints, pre and post-digital starting in the 1950s with photographers Philippe Halsman and Horst P. Horst and going through the 1980s with artist Sandy Skoglund to the present with Los Angeles’ Dianne Bates and Valley artists Scott Michael, William Dey, Lee Balan, Taili Song Roth.

Just like photography has changed painting – Photoshop has changed staged photography. “Photographs talk to you – some are edgy and challenging – all will draw you in,” said Karen and Tony Barone curators of the exhibit.

The Barones will exhibit their new “Modern @ Man sculptures through Jan. 20, 2013.
