The Stars Shine at Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament

 The 4th Annual Wounded Warriors Project Golf tournament was held at Fantasy Springs Resort Spa Casino in Indio. Over 200 Golfers and Celebrities participated in this event. Fred, “The Hammer,” Williamson is the national Spokesperson for WWP and hosts this golf tournament each year. You have probably seen him on TV for the WWP. Wounded Warriors Project is a national organization that helps our veterans wounded in Iraq and Afganistan and their families.

A Pairings Party was held on Friday night in the 12th floor venue and an Awards party and dinner was held at the LIT Lounge at Fantasy Springs Resort Spa Casino. Hole in one cars were sponsored by Jessup and Palm Springs Motors. Other prizes were awarded at the dinner. The Boys and Girls Club band, Heat Wave, performed for the golfers prior to play. The Golf Tournament was held at Fantasy’s Eagle Falls Golf Course.

About 30 celebrities played including some big names in sports like Paul Warfield, Christian Okoye, Tommy Davis, Tom Flores and Actor Richard Roundtree to name a few.
