The Seminole Tribe of Florida and Hard-Rock Hotel hosted a fundraiser for California State Assemblyman V Manuel Perez on Friday evening, March 7, 2014. The formal notification of Assemblyman Perez’ qualifying to run for Riverside District Board of Supervisors came in just hours before, making this the official kickoff of his campaign.

Notable guests included numerous elected officials from various cities in the desert, including Desert Hot Springs Mayor Adam Sanchez, councilmen Russell Betts and Joe McKee, Scott Hines councilman from Rancho Mirage, Steven Hernandez Vice Mayor of Coachella, as well as directors of the Desert Water Agency, Jeff Grubbe Chairman of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and Paula and Tony Sanchez, Vice Chairman of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and President of Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc.
