Icons shine on summertime DVD titles
Singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, composer piano man Elton John and hard rock outfit Guns N' Roses revisit their rich legacies on newly released DVD/Blu-ray titles.

Tell me more: Filmed over a number of performances in 2013 during his residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Elton John’s “The Million Dollar Hotel” stands out for the sheer fun of the performance. Versions of “Crocodile Rock,” “I’m Still Standing” and “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting)” get the audience moving and often singing along at full voice. Backed by a top-flight band and chorus of singers, John leads the ensemble through the beautiful “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me” and a touching performance of “Candle In The Wind,” the latter included in bonus material captured during a 2012 concert in Kiev.
