Live Concert Kicks Off Veterans’ Benefit at Vahalla Vortex
Saturday, Sept. 27, is the date to hear some master musicians and have some fun at the first Vahalla Vortex Experience benefit for military veterans across America. Gates open at 1 p.m. and all you need to enter is a contribution to American veterans.
The Vahalla Vortex, north edge of Palm Springs, is the location for this unique entertainment experiment. Take Dillon Road to Diablo and look for the signs among the windmills to lead you to a line-up of performers who will keep you rocking all afternoon and well into the midnight hour. The internationally known artist Shar and her band mates will lead off with tunes from their top-selling CD “Midnight Madness” followed by Snatch The Pebble, Rio Rocko, and “Harter Attack,” just to name a few of the talented acts. Music will run the gamut, from country, island rock, and trash metal to R&B.
Along with the music, enjoy horseshoes, tasty BBQ, prize drawings and much more. Ample parking is available. For more information, call (562)858-2485.
